So what's
the problem?
In Swara, access to clean water remains a daily challenge. Families still rely on distant sources, spending hours each day collecting what they need for drinking, cooking and washing, very few families in Swara are able to keep livestock due to the lack of water.

the solution?
TBF is currently working alongside the local community to construct a new water pipeline. As with all our projects, the work is carried out in partnership with the people who will rely on it.

With the recent (April 2026) acquisition of a shiny new 10,000 litre water tank and 20 HP submersible pump, we are now very close to finishing the Swara project.
Moving forward to
community ownership
Once completed, the system will be handed over to a local committee responsible for its maintenance. This ensures the project remains sustainable and continues to serve the village long into the future.
