One of the many things cameraman Steve and I achieved oher the last few months, was cruising around Bimire looking for positive impacts of the pipeline. One of them was my good friend Kamal here and his new washing machine.

Before the construction of the pipeline in Bimire, Kamal's wife Modi, like all the other women in villages like Bimire, used to carry clothes down to the watering hole or the river, and wash them on a flat rock, then carry them back up to the village.

Kamal's family now owning a washing machine was made possible entirely by the crowdfunded pipeline in Bimire, if you've ever thrown a donation our way, then you can take a bow and pat yourself on the back at the same time. You have changed a family's life forever.

Ps... no Nepali phonetics on this video because when I speak with Kamal and several others from Bimire, its generally an absolute mash up of Nepali/Hindi/Tamang and English in every sentence and its a lot to break apart!
