Terms of sale
The plain-English version is the only version.
Interim terms — currently under review by our solicitor. If anything here turns out to be wrong, we fix the page, not the customer.
Who you're buying from
The Bimiri Foundation, a charity registered in Scotland (charity number SC048834, regulated by OSCR). We build drinking-water systems with villages in Nepal. Contact: [email protected].
What you're buying
Physical goods, printed to order — nothing is manufactured until you order it. That keeps waste at zero, but it also means production starts quickly after payment (see cancellation, below).
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Shipping is quoted live for your address before you pay — the total you see at checkout is the total you pay us. Payment is handled by Stripe; your card details never touch our site. Your bank statement will show TBF* MERCH.
Where the money goes
Profits from the shop fund the charity's water projects. Where a product is a collaboration with a designer, the exact profit split is stated on the product — we never say "all profits" unless it is literally true.
Cancelling an order
Contact us before your order enters production and we will cancel and refund it in full. Because items are printed to order, production can begin quickly — so contact us as soon as possible. Once an item is being made, see Returns & refunds.
Delivery
Items may be produced in the UK, EU or US depending on the product, and an order can arrive in more than one parcel (you pay one postage charge regardless). Estimated delivery times are shown on each product. Customs charges, where they apply, are yours — see Shipping & customs.
If something goes wrong
If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, contact us via the returns page and a real person will put it right. Nothing in these terms reduces your statutory rights as a consumer.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland.
